2005-03-25 - 10:45 a.m. woo hah! yay diaryland! i am sure everyone else missed you as much as i did. glad to see that the server is up and running again! anyhoo, this week has been full of fun-ness, as it is spring break. well, except for this weekend, when i worked and did nothing else. monday was paul's 21st, so we went out and got shitty then came to my house for a hot tub. tuesday, we went out to lunch and then a movie. "be cool" is not good, no matter what anyone else thinks. the rock sucked (obviously), vince vaughn (is that his name?) sucked, even though i like his other stuff, and the plot sucked too, not to mention the writing. the only redeeming quality was andre 3000. thank goodness for him. after the movie it was to the shamrock for karaoke with karaoke bob. he is the best karaoke jay ever. he is so kind and nurturing to all the singers, and he is a good singer himself, so it made for a good time. wednesday night, paul and i rolled. it has been like three years since i have done it, so it was nice to have that happy, fucked-upedness that i have missed so much. i didn't get to sleep until like 5:30 or so, and i had to get up at 8:30 to catch the bus to get to my internship. i was kinda worried that i would be all weird at work with my internship guy, but all was well. then i worked a lame shift. i was at the union for almost 12 hours. it has been awhile since i have done that. after work, jessi, anna, and jeffis came over to smoke and play apples to apples with mark, shane, and i. it is such a fun game!!! if you don't know about it, you should. word association games are the best! :D well, now i am waiting for my mom to get here. since i can't come home for easter this year (housesitting for my manager), she is coming up here to take me shopping and out to lunch. then tonight there is a 50s party at jeffis' and anna's. good times, good times...
