2005-07-22 - 5:18 p.m. hot town, summer in the city. so, the last couple days have been spent in minneapolis apartment-and-job-hunting. with mom. staying with my cool aunt and uncle and 5-year-old cousin. i could scream. love the fam, but sometimes my mother drives me nuts. the first apartment i looked at was okay, but mom hated it. you'd think she was going to live there. i guess i can understand, me being the baby and moving farfarfarawayfromhome, but let's be serious. all i want is a freaking job and a place to sleep. give me a freaking closet for all i care...i can bathe in the toilet at work....hell, it is probably cleaner than some of the bathtubs i have seen in the last two days. but i think i found a nice little studio...it has three large closets, lots of cupboards in the kitchen, a gas stove (huzzah!), and a little vanity in the bathroom. very cutesies. very homesies. very norax. it is two blocks from lake harriet, across the street from a coffee shop, and two blocks from a fabulous bakery. fucking rock. hope minneapolis is ready for the norax.
